The short version
Hi, I’m Rob Bonham
I’ve spent more than two decades in SEO — across local and multi-location businesses, e-commerce, SaaS, and home services. I’ve worked as a freelancer, in-house, and for over half my career inside agencies. Today I act as a fractional SEO manager/director for agencies that need senior search leadership without a full-time hire, and an SEO advisor to startups figuring out their organic strategy.

- Use AI as a tool, with human oversight — we’re stewards of the AI, not button-pushers.
- Build a bigger footprint (mentions, third-party visibility, real partnerships) instead of chasing volume.
- Be honest about measurement in a post-attribution world — the “game of sums,” not vanity precision.
- Win with integrated campaigns where SEO, content, PPC, email, and PR reinforce each other.
